Well believe it or not I took the month of October off from work. I am on a road trip with two awesome friends. There was a method to my madness when I bought my van. We have been planning for the past few months, but also keeping it loose in case we change our course as we have already added on a few additional stops. All I can say is thank goodness for GPS as we move about. We have not booked many hotels as we are playing it by ear. So far so good. We may not be gone a month, but I wanted to keep my options open...LOL! So far we visited the Football Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and I have to say I truly enjoyed the Football Hall of Fame more. We also went to the Christmas Story House which was fun and to see they turned a little neighborhood into a tourist destination is fascinating. If we are friends on FB, you will see pictures and albums posted so you can follow along. We are wearing our masks (even when others don't) and most places we visit are requiring masks indoors.
I had a busy week wrapping things up with one client as she graduated so to speak. She wants to keep in touch so we meet for lunch when I return. My other client was feeling well enough to sit outside and enjoy some vitamin d (luckily we had some decent weather). She is at the point where she can not be alone for very long because of her fall risk. She has been anxious about my being away so it will be interesting to hear the stories she tells me when I return. I promised her family I would return.
This past week I read: "ELI'S PROMISE" by Ronald H. Balson. A well-written historical fiction starts in World War II and ends in the Vietnam Era.
