Not sure where January went, but it's almost February. It feels like part of January was spent in anticipation and worry over things I could not control. What about you? Perhaps February will be a little calmer. Were you able to see the full Wolf moon this past week? Luckily, the sky here was clear and the moon was stunning and so bright! There were also some awesome sunrises this past week. I will always be in awe of sunrise and the spiritual feeling I get at the start of a brand new day. Are you a sunrise or sunset person?
I had a good week at work. Both clients are well and kept me busy. Spent time researching medical alert equipment as clients are fall risks. I won't say which one is better than the other as they all have their pros/cons. I know the one my dad used was good and since we used them at least twice I know how they work. One client lives further away so driving home I get to pass several horse farms. It was fun to see all the horses with their blankets on as it was so chilly/windy. I pass a few wineries as well so perhaps in the good weather I'll do a little shopping on the way home.
Last year my doctor suggested I drink at least 100 ounces of water a day. Well, I have to admit I certainly try (not always successful). I always thought I drank a lot of water, but not so. My goal when working is to drink at least 16 oz an hour. Since most shifts are four hours I can get more than halfway to my goal. This means no stopping on the way home and get out of my way once I get there...LOL! I don't drink as much water on my days off, but I'm working on it. I also drink (which I know does not count) at least 3 cups of coffee and a glass of juice per day. At least I know my kidneys and bladder work well. How's your water consumption?
This past week I finished reading: "DEADLY CROSS" by James Patterson as well as "THREE WOMEN DISAPPEAR" and "COME AND GET US" by James Patterson and Shan Serafin. It was my week and murder and mayhem.
