As I mentioned previously, I have been strolling down memory lane for the last couple of weeks as I do some cleaning and organizing of my closets. Some items have not been touched in several years so I think it's time. Believe it or not, I've done enough to actually see some floor in the closet. I have donated a few items and that always feels good. I am gathering a few other items for donation. I hope taking some time and going through a box or bag at a time will be just the ticket for getting through stuff.
I have shed some tears and also laughed with memories of such good times.
Let me explain the picture below. Many many moons ago when I still lived in Boston (yes that long ago), there were four of us who travelled a few times together. We were young, single and silly. We drank too much, got too much sun and created some great memories. So much fun in the Bahamas and Florida. The following is a monkey radio that we traded off every few years. Yes, we would send it to each other as a reminder of the fun. Well, I found it in my closet. There is a note taped on the bottom which says, "to be returned to Donna 2/25/95". I have to admit I never returned it. It does not work any longer so it will go in the trash today. I am posting this here as I know Donna reads the blog, but is not on FB. I know she'll get a kick out of the post.
Guess I better get back to cleaning out one last box for today. Or perhaps take a nap as it's raining outside and perfect for a snooze....LOL!
Have a great week. Take care. Chat soon. Marie
