For those celebrating Rosh Hashanah: May this New Year be filled with health and happiness, and sweet moments for you and your family. L’shanah Tovah!
I have to say our landscaping looks awesome. If you saw pictures you may have noticed some broken brick work in the front of the garage. Well, it was repaired this week. Now to make the call for a new driveway. The mailman asked if we were selling the house and did not understand we were getting it done for ourselves to enjoy.
Overall, I had a good week. A bit busy at work as the coordination of appointments began. My client wants to be sure her appointments are scheduled around my shifts. I advised it does not matter I can always adjust my shift on that particular day, but I appreciate her trying to respect my time. I'm all about let's get it done. My client gets to enjoy completing all the paperwork which comes with being a new patient. Of course, it's also learning what will be covered by insurance and what will not along with cost of copay. She knows what she can afford and I have told her to be upfront about it. I also updated her laptop and added security/virus software. It's hard for me to understand why her son, who works in the tech industry, has not been more helpful along these lines, but I got it done so that's all that matters.
My emotions were a bit up/down as memories and pictures popped up in FB and my phone to celebrate what would have been my mom's 89th birthday. She sent me a few signs as well to let me know she's watching over me.
This past week I finished reading: "THE CELLIST" by Daniel Silva - fast-paced spy novel with main character Gabriel Allon. "THE MURDER LIST" by Hank Phillippi Ryan - great twists and turns. "THE WISH" by Nicholas Sparks - beautifully written tearjerker (at least I cleared out my tear ducts).
