My heart aches for those children who lost their lives this past week to a senseless act of violence. I have no words of wisdom and I won't debate any issues.
My week went well. I was able to use my limited tech abilities to complete setting up my client's larger monitor and regular sized keyboard to her laptop and tutor her on a to maneuver these items. Also, finally got her landline working again. There were so many cables, cords and adapters behind her original setup it was hard to tell which went to what. It felt like a treasure hunt or maze as I sorted and eliminated quite a few cables to get to a final set up. I'm still not sure where some of the ones remaining go, but I was not moving furniture to find out. Suffice it to say, my client like many of us has a box full of cables/cords just in case we ever need them. My client is settling in to being back in her own home, having things her way and fun with "Alexa".
This past week I finished reading: "THE HUNTRESS" by Kate Quinn - takes place after World War II and involves the hunt for a Nazi War Criminal - very good. "DEAD CENTER" and "PLAY DEAD" by David Rosenfelt - two books in the Andy Carpenter series - fun, easy reads.
