It was a busy week at work as my client sorted through several items and donated quite a bit. She organized what she kept so it will be easier to put back when it's time. I had no idea the entertainment center held so many items. It was very emotional for her as each she has memories/stories attached to each item. So far everything is on track for donating the entertainment center and arrival of new TV stand and larger TV. She arranged everything and has confirmed several times because of the timing involved.
I've been seeing lots of vacation photos on FB and it's great to see so many people out and about. Although I am thinking about vacation I can't decide where to go. So many places on my bucket list (drive entire Route 66; explore southwest region; visit every state I have not traveled; etc.) I found 11 cross country road trips that all look interesting. I'm hoping once my cast comes off to be in a better frame of mind to travel. I'm still not ready for airplanes and cruises...maybe next year.
I finally got around to getting a new phone (yes it's still an Android). The old one could not hold a charge and was older (in terms of technology) than I thought. Time flies when dealing with technology. I also finally ordered new glasses - prescription is only a couple months old. I am close to these places on my way home from work, but I'm usually too tired and covered in dog hair (LOL). I went yesterday morning and felt such a sense of accomplishment. I was glad to get home as it felt like too much people interaction on a day when I usually hibernate.
This past week I finished reading: "SHATTERED" by James Patterson and James O. Born - latest in the Michael Bennett Series. "TRUST ME" and "HER PERFECT LIFE" by Hank Phillippi Ryan. As you can tell my week was full of crime. I watched "Clifford The Big Red Dog" (2021) - cute silly movie.
The daily and wacky holidays for the week...provides something lighthearted to think about:
