Overall, it was a good week. Although I felt like I was busy as I look over the week, I'm not sure I did much...LOL! I had a few appointments that took up some time. I did catch up with a few friends over the past week and it was wonderful to have one-on-one conversations and hugs vice updates via FB. I cleaned up a corner of the backyard (not finished yet), bundled most of the branches/limbs (tied up with old pantyhose for carrying) and luckily the trash people collected without any problem. Then the temps heated up again; so although more to do; will get out there again when it's a a little cooler. I cleaned out two drawers (did not realize how much I had) of old socks, tights, pantyhose, etc. Items new, but will not be worn, were donated. I used my research skills and experiences to pull together information for a few people on different subjects.
I know I spent quite a few hours watching TV...LOL! TV is my weakness...okay I admit it. I won't tell you every show I watched, just the new ones that I at least watched once. Prodigal Son, All Rise, Bob Loves Abishola, Bluff City Law, Emergence, Stumptown, and Carol's Second Act. Thank goodness for the DVR! I also watched and still have a bit to go - Country Music Documentary by Ken Burns. Very interesting and I love the history he provided. I'm sure some will be upset about people that were left out, but I think he covered as much as he could over 16 hours. If you have not had a chance to watch it, I highly recommend. Brought back many memories of listening to country music with my mom many years ago. Are you watching anything interesting?
I work out Monday-Friday mornings, some days it's easier than others. My old body lets me know how intense we will be for that day. Some days better than others, but I try to keep it moving. I'm working on stretching more throughout the day to keep from creaking...LOL! I so enjoy the music (most of the time) and the people. All I can say is thank goodness for chiropractors, acupuncturists, ice packs and a few other things.
I finished reading "EVVIE DRAKE STARTS OVER" by Linda Holmes. Interesting story about a young widow putting her life back together and a new relationship. It was a summer read book...not too heavy, but with enough emotional baggage.
