There has definitely been some wacky weather this summer with a tornado on Cape cod, hail in Minnesota, and flooding in so many places. I certainly hope/pray that you were not impacted/hurt by any of the weather.
Do you have dreams? I do not mean only when sleeping, but also about possibilities? My sleeping dreams lately have been all over the place...think I've been reading too much murder/mayhem...LOL! I've had many dreams over the years. They have also been all over the place....from traveling the world to rescuing senior dogs to helping people. Many of my dreams have been fulfilled (or at least partially) and many are out there still in the percolating stages. Many of my dreams changed over the years as I grew older/wiser; perhaps realized it was not what I wanted; or financially an impossibility. Often, it's fear (yes I have this too) that stops me from going further. Sometimes I believe I like the idea of the dream more than the pursuit of the dream. I do feel that it's always wonderful to have a dream out there on the horizon though. What about you? There are no wrong answers.
I found another interesting Blog last week. It's about a young couple and their dogs and their attempt to sail up the East Coast to Europe. They only started out a couple of weeks ago so I caught up on the adventures fairly quickly. If you are interested here is the link: Adventures in our Traveling Apartment travelingapartment.blogspot.com/?fbclid=IwAR251ASslJsvmuuoiGvpVx6CS1m1IkNhzq5u6hcvuSDsFbTvsMvqRzpuIFQ. Please remember if you find one you think I might be interested in to let me know.
Lady will see a new groomer (she really needs it) this week as we start to get more settled in VA. I took her for a little adventure the other day to a friend's house. We spent most of the day. Lady explored the backyard as there were several paths where she could walk on pavers and such. She's not a fan of my backyard as there is too much grass for her. She likes to squat on grass and do everything else on tar/cement. She was excellent in the short car ride though as we rode with the windows down all the way. No worries, I had her secured in the backseat.
I worked as a companion this past week and cleaned out the pantry. Six bags of trash later...tada...clean with room to spare. Now there is a shelf for cleaning paraphernalia and the rest for food products. I advised my client that she has to determine which space I look at next week. I was able to speak with an appraiser yesterday (thank you for the referral Molly) and I have some information for my client. Then she can make some decisions on how to proceed.
I finished reading "FALLEN" by Karin Slaughter. It's the 5th book in the Will Trent series. Of course, I always squeeze in newspapers and magazines.
