I had a good week. Overall, nothing out of the ordinary - sometimes I need a week like this. I stopped by to visit friends who recently moved after 45 years. They are getting settled slowly, but surely. They live close to my client so they may see me more often in the afternoon.
I worked my normal shifts (turned down an extra shift). I was able to assist my client on a few technical issues. Her laptop died and I was able to set up a few things on her Ipad (never used one before). She seemed surprised that there were things I did not know how to do on the Ipad. I burst her bubble on the idea that I can do everything. We had a good laugh at that idea. She uses her phone for a lot, but a few things she likes to look at on a larger screen. Her son has more technical ability and connections than I so I suggested she speak to him if she wants to replace.
Our neighbors moved this past week after almost 20 years. It took them three weeks to clean out the house. He loved to collect stuff and in the past they had yard sales all the time. The new neighbors moved in yesterday. I have not met/seen them yet, but I'm sure this week I will.
This past week I finished reading: "ABANDONED IN DEATH" by J. D. Robb (55th book in series). "TRUTH BE TOLD" by Hank Phillippi Ryan (Jane Ryland series). Another week of murder/mayhem. My client asked me how I can read this type of book - I replied, I find it fascinating. Perhaps I'll lighten it up over the next week or so...LOL!
