It was a quiet week for me as I was off work for a few days. My client's family came to town so as I told my boss, between my oral surgery and broken arm, I'm tired and taking the time off...don't call me. The advantage to a few days off is I listened to meditation music, read quite a bit, caught up on a few shows and spent time with friends. Makes me think about cutting back my works hours, but I know I need the routine of work or I would be such a lazy thing.
This cast is driving me crazy, but thank goodness I have it. Who knew it could hurt to fold towels...never mind trying to do every day types of things. They say necessity is the mother of invention and I certainly believe it as my wooden back scratcher, very long shoe horn and grabber have certainly come in handy this past week. I'm driving, but cautiously (think white haired old lady with the big black sunglasses...LOL!) in many ways avoiding the major highways and trying to take less turns. Thank goodness for backup cameras and a fairly empty parking garage at the oral surgeons' office. Not sure how, but I broke my left arm and the cuts and bruises are wrapped around my left leg. At least the bruises are fading.
This past week I finished reading: "THE CONFESSION CLUB" by Elizabeth Berg - easy read. "FACE TIME" by Hank Phillippi Ryan - thriller/easy read. "HELL OF A BOOK" by Jason Mott (Read With Jenna selection) -this was a hard book for me to read and comprehend, but I was determined to finish. I also watched: "STILLWATER" (2021); "ELIZABETH: A PORTRAIT (In Parts)" (2022); and "THE FATHER"(2021).
