Well, I feel like a mushroom as we've had rain for a few days. I know we needed it here, but I don't think it needs to come all at once. The heat even came on a few nights. I feel bad that so many outdoor festivities were cancelled due to the rain. The only advantage for me is that yesterday afternoon I took a long deep nap...when I need it, I need it.
I had a busy week at work we move closer to my client moving back to her home - hoping the end of this coming week. The only thing left to be done is the hvac duct cleaning. In the meantime, I gave her a few tutorials on her new laptop and created quite a few shortcuts. She gets a little frustrated (as we all do) as it's a little different than what she was using previously, but keeps at it. So happy for my client as she used her rollator and ventured to the new benches placed outside near her building. She has not pleasure walked outside for a very long time so when she sent me a picture of herself on the bench I was joyous.
This past week I finished reading: "THE PAPER PALACE" by Miranda Cowley Heller (Reese's Book Club selection) - I found this hard and confusing to read but I did get through. "THE HORSEWOMAN" by James Patterson and Mike Lupica - very interesting fast paced read about the show horse world, family and the Olympics.
