It was a week of introspection as I celebrated my 64th birthday. Sometimes, I find it hard to believe I made it this far with some of the crazy adventures that happened over the years. Let's just say I earned every one of my white hairs and wrinkles - so many memories. It was good to hear from people near and far. I am blessed to have so many awesome people in my circle. I had a good laugh as I immediately received snail mail with Medicare information for when I'm eligible next year. Talk about pushing it a bit...LOL! I understand I will receive Medicare constantly until I reach the magic age...LOL!
My work went well for the week. My client did lots of cleaning as it was not done to her liking previously. She would not let me help, but I did what I could to ease the burden. When my client stayed with her neighbor she got to see what "Alexa" and technology is about. Well, she got a good deal on an Echo dot so I set it up for her and sync'd to her blue tooth speaker for portability. She had received "smart plugs" and such as gifts last year and stashed them away as she had no idea what to do with them. I set them up and she's like a kid in a candy store. I provided a lesson or two about "Google" searches which thrilled her to no end. She is excited to have and use more technology than her son. I can't wait to hear her stories tomorrow.
This past week I finished reading: "THE DARK HOURS" by Michael Connelly - part of the Renee Ballard and Harry Bosch series.
