I had a good week at work. The dog and I got a few good walks in as we explored. Lots of neighbors speak to me or wave from their cars. My client is doing the best she can and continues to try and do more. I am disappointed for my client in the doctors and such who don't follow up with her care. It's hard to make a meek person fight for themselves, but I work at it every day. She had a rough start to the week, but finished on a higher note and that's what matters.
I hibernated during the snow yesterday. I did get a few things done including cooked a partial turkey dinner (only thing missing was potatoes), laundry (seems never ending), and organized a bit more. Believe it or not, I finally cleaned out the last of the totes from Plymouth! It's like Christmas unwrapping all the items. I did put aside quite a few things to donate. I'm still not sure what to do with some of the items, but will think of something. What do I do with three generations worth of silverware? I have my grandparents, my parents and mine (yes given to me by my parents). I'm setting up the angel corner I started in Plymouth (with a few additions). At least there is more space in the sun room now. My BFF asked me how I felt when I was done and I thought...accomplished!
This past week I finished reading: "STEAL" by James Patterson and Howard Roughan - murder/mayhem - always good. "THE LAST GREEN VALLEY" by Mark Sullivan - a novel about a family in Ukraine caught between the Germans and the Soviets in 1944. It's based on a true story. I learned quite a bit of history and found it timely considering what's happening in Ukraine today.
