The good news of the week....I am on vacation! Took the month of October off from work as I did last year and I'm on a road trip with friends. We will visit a few different places than last year and hopefully will have good weather along the way. We have a plan, but with flexibility built in so we can veer off if something interesting is nearby. If you are connected to my personal FB page you will see pictures along the journey. I did not realize how much I needed this vacation. Don't worry about the new landscaping -we arranged for someone to water. I'm writing this from a hotel in Abingdon VA - which is part of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Because of the weather, the cloud cover and mist over the mountains was beautiful.
I had a busy week transporting my client to doctors appointments. She's not too happy about all the fuss, but I'm prodding her to work through the seven referrals she received from the rheumatologist. After a few years of neglect things are finally moving along. It's good that the doctors are doing tests and follow-ups pretty quickly. My client was trying to fit as much in as possible before my vacation although I advised her other aids will be with her and can transport.
This past week I finished reading: "THE FIRST TO LIE" by Hank Phillippi Ryan - interesting twists and turn from the start to the finish. For some reason, I did not get any other reading done.
