I decided to post tonight as it's almost Sunday. I just got home from work and thought perhaps if I write tonight I'll sleep in tomorrow...we'll see. I'm not good at sleeping in, but I'll attempt. I know people love sleeping in on their day off...I have not been that person since I was a teen. Too many years ago now to count...LOL!
I was busy this past week as I worked six days in a row. Makes me happy to be able to help the families out an extra day or two. One client is still not quite up-to-par and the other is feeling better, but had some changes happen around him that take time to process. I made quite a few people laugh with my shamrock headband for St. Patty's Day. I was researching obtaining another certification for dementia care, as with any educational foray it's not cheap. As I emailed with one organization about the different certs offered they asked me two questions: what will I do with it? why do I want it? Since I could not answer the questions, at least to satisfy myself, I put it on hold for now. I'm not sure I truly want to start a new career/occupation in health care.
Lots of memories this week on FB pertaining to my dad so I was surprised to be woken up one morning to the feeling of my mom kissing my head. I have not felt that before and I truly could see her face, with her hair done, and heard her say goodnight. It was so real that I remember saying goodnight and feeling her presence. Then, as I remembered, I jumped up. I think she's trying to let me know she's keeping an eye on me.
This week I finished reading: "COP TOWN" by Karin Slaughter. Intense story based in Atlanta 1974. I watched "THE GREATEST SHOWMAN" (2017) a musical about PT Barnum.
