I have to admit many weekends I start drafting my blog on Saturdays and finish it up Sunday mornings. I never got it started yesterday and slept in this morning. Yes, I woke up early and rolled over for a bit. I guess working twelve days in a row wore me out so to speak. Yesterday I sorted and cleaned a couple of boxes I had brought back from Plymouth a few months ago. Still have some to go, but it's a start. It was either the craziness of my bedroom or the New Year that got me going.
I had a good week at work. Started off the week with snow and ended with snow which does NOT stop this Boston born girl. My client was surprised when I showed up on time every day, but as a Philly girl she understood my determination...LOL! I assisted her in putting the holidays away. The hardest part of my week was going to three different grocery stores, some at least twice, to get the items my client wanted/needed. I could not believe how bare the shelves were. When I asked a worker about an item, he said the trucks had not come in and when they do no one is available to load the shelves. One store had 11 resignations in two days.
This past week I finished reading: "THE AMBASSADOR'S DAUGHTER" by Pam Jenoff. Good story about espionage and intrigue after World War I.
The daily and wacky holidays for the week...provides something lighthearted to think about:
