For the second year in a row Ramadan, Passover and Easter Sunday will occur during the same weekend. Typically, this event happens three times a century or once every 33 years. Blessings for a Happy Easter! For those celebrating Passover - Chag Sameach! For those in Ramadan - Ramadan Kareem.
I have to say, I'm not sure where last week went, but suddenly it was the weekend. I looked back at my calendar because I thought I must have been very busy, but I was not. I did walk almost every day at a good pace. I have a couple of different paths I travel depending on how I feel that day. Sometimes I see other people and sometimes there is no one out wandering the neighborhood.
I did receive my Medicare card in the mail - talk about a new chapter in life coming up. I was able to sign up for my supplemental care and such quite easily. Now if only the calls would stop coming in - I get more spam calls at all hours, I think I have the longest "block" list. Now to make an appointment to renew my drivers license/real ID. One thing at a time.
I read quite a few books last week (perhaps why I did not get much else done): "TICK TOCK" by Fern Michaels - latest in the Sisterhood series. "ONE LAST GIFT" by Emily Stone - love and loss. "SWEETER THAN CHOCOLATE" by Lizzie Shane - love, chocolate and legends - was a Hallmark movie as well. "SAM" by Allegro Goodman - a Read With Jenna selection - the angst of being a teen and growing up. "WALK THE BLUE LINE" by James Patterson and Matt Eversmann - stories of first responders.
