Have you been able to get the vaccine yet? Several people I know have gotten one or both of their shots so that's a good sign. I'm registered and waiting for my appointment. I'm staying positive that herd immunity will happen sooner rather than later. I'm as weary as others, yet I believe precautions will need to continue for a while as we move forward.
I had a busy week at work as neither of my clients were quite up-to-par. They kept me busy which is just fine as the time flies by. I worked six days in a row and I have not done that in a long time.
I went to the grocery store twice this week (2 different ones). My BFF laughed at me as she knows I am not a fan of being in one. It was for me an exercise in patience as I maneuvered around people. At least everyone wore masks. I knew what I needed (yes I had a list), but if only I could keep to a list. Once in the store I have to wander up/down almost every aisle to see what's on sale and things suddenly are in the cart. For example, I went to one store for water and came home with so many other things. Items were on sale that made me think of recipes and I was hungry so I needed this and that...LOL! I know it would not happen if I shopped online, but oh well.
As I drove back/forth to work the other day, I thought about what makes me crazy so now you get to know...LOL! I can't stand those signs on cars that say - baby on board or new driver. Are they warning me of how badly they drive? Are they telling me to stay away? Are we supposed to let them do whatever they want? I swear some of the worst drivers have these signs on their cars.
We had a bit of winter cold this past week. Not unexpected in March, but I'm getting tired of winter jackets and extra sweaters. I would rather have it a bit on the cool side than the heat of summer, but that's me. At least the days are getting longer and sun is warm when I'm driving around in the car. You know spring is coming when the lawn service comes and treats the lawn.
I finished reading: "LEAVE THE WORLD BEHIND" by Rumaan Alam. Have you ever read a book and thought what did I just read? That's the way I thought of this book. I am on the fence. Oh well, at least I finished it.
