I had a good week. I worked one day with my normal client. I guess I am the on call person for this particular client - which I don't mind. We had a good time together and I got lots of love and fur from the dog. I don't mind helping out as long as I don't have a regular schedule. My client was thrilled as she wants to see me in-person vice only text messages. She would happy if I worked and/or visited much more often. At least when I work here and there I can update her computer (she has trouble with it) and keep updated on her health issues. I know my boss would appreciate many more hours, but it's not going to happen.
I started walking outside a bit, when I feel up, to it as I realize I really need to move and stretch my body. I walked three days for 30 minutes at a time. I am not speed walking, but set a decent pace for myself. One of the days I was out with my client's dog (happened to be one of the coldest days of the year, but we both had a good time). My chiropractor was happy when I told her and my spine seemed to align a bit easier yesterday.
I did get some more cleaning out and organizing done last week. I have a big bag ready to head to charity. I also gathered the majority of my tax paperwork. Some weeks I make progress and some weeks I coast along.
I started by BP medicine this past week so I'll see how it goes. Since I have some appointments coming up, my BP will be taken often over the next few weeks so hopefully it will settle down.
This past week I finished reading: "A CHRISTMAS MEMORY" by Richard Paul Evans - a memory of the author's from childhood. His books are poignant and sentimental and I always shed a tear or two. "THE NINTH MONTH" by James Patterson and Richard DiLallo - a thriller with a twist. "THE HOUSE OF WOLVES" by James Patterson and Mike Lupica - murder/mayhem involving a family owned football team. I also watched: "NOTHING COMPARES" (2022) - a documentary of Sinead O'Connor's rise and fall and her enduring cultural impact - interesting as I remembered parts of the events, but learned so much more. "THE 24TH" (2020) - Members of the Army's all-Black 24th Infantry Regiment become involved in a deadly riot in Houston in 1917 - powerful and enlightening as I had never heard of this story previously.
