We had a bit of snow and ice over the week. Of course, being from Boston the storms did not stop me from going to work. I will not drive until it's daylight so I can see the roads and the crazy drivers around me. My client was surprised when I showed up each morning on time and ready to walk her dog. The dog and I are bundled up and get our walks just a bit shorter than normal.
I hoped to see the red cardinal out my window the other day as it was the anniversary of my mom's passing, but I did not. It's funny though because I realized at the end of the day, I saw cardinals all through my shift as my client had them all over her sweatshirt. She also showed me one of her scrap books and there were cardinals throughout. So I believe my angels were watching over me just showing themselves in a different way. Brought me a sense of peace.
