I had a good week working, socializing, and balancing life. I did squeeze in a couple of extra workouts and that felt great. I did have dinner with a former colleague who recently retired. She's getting to move out of the area so I'm glad I reached out when I did. We spent a few hours over dinner and catching up over the last few years. She is moving to Myrtle Beach so perhaps I'll see her there when I'm that way in the future. I also attended a Battle of the Bands night to support another friend's grandson. My friend asked me how it felt to be a "groupie" at this age...LOL? I answered it's like my early 20s when I did it a lot...ah the memories of those days...LOL! Those are stories for another time!
There are signs that spring is coming. As I pulled in the driveway the other day I noticed how high the spring flowers are becoming. I keep thinking it's only February, but the sun has been warm and we've not had much of a winter. Someone on a neighborhood FB page posted yesterday pictures of crocus bloomed along the walking trails. Also, the lawn service in Plymouth contacted me yesterday as they did some clean up and preparation up there.
I have no life epiphanies to pass on this week. Although my dreams have been all over the place and have woken me several nights. Yes, I do look up the meanings (when I can remember some of the details) as I try to pay closer attention. Most of them have to do with change (surprise surprise), but lately they have been about different things so I need to do some processing. Do you remember your dreams?
I am slowly unsubscribing from several email resources I receive. I have a throw away email address I use when needed in stores or when I'm ordering something. But then I receive constant emails from them and every other company out there. There are ones I like to receive, sometimes it's just too much. So between SPAM and unsubscribe I'm cleaning out some of the clutter.
I finished reading: "GOLDEN IN DEATH" by J.D. Robb. This is book 50 in the series and always a good quick read. I must have been busier than I realized as I did not read anything else or watch any movies.
