Overall, I had a good week. I watched the Puppy Bowl and Super Bowl. I know I'm getting old as the half time show made me dizzy and I could not watch parts (at least I could listen as I enjoy The Weeknd).
The work week went well and as one of my client puts it - "as long as I wake up it's a good day." I try to approach every day as a new step in my journey through life and stay in present moment. I'm not perfect at it by any means and sometimes feel like I slog through the day. I try to learn something every day although lately I feel a bit stuck. I, like many of you, need/want to have something to look forward to especially after this past year of the pandemic. I know I am pandemic weary, but have hopes for the vaccines and continued masking. I want to travel again and it almost does not matter where (guess I better apply for a new passport). I want to spend time connecting with others and again it almost does not matter where, except it has to be in person. How about you?
I believe things happen for a reason and you deal with things when you are ready to learn or teach. Yesterday as the icy rain fell I decided to clean out some old emails from my coaching profile. I had saved, but not opened a bunch of emails from Soul Biographies. I finally watched quite a few of the short films he produced. I had forgotten how powerful the words and lessons from others can be. I guess it was what I needed at this moment. I have a few more to watch/listen to and I can't imagine the life lessons I'll learn from those.
If I ever needed reminders my angels watch over me, it happened on Friday. The next door neighbor from Plymouth called and asked for the name of the real estate person I used as she wants to sell her house. She told me about all the storms they've had and how many had damage from recent blizzard/hurricane like weather. She said my old house had over 35K in damages from the roof/skylights being severely compromised where water got in and ruined much. The wind almost always howled on this corner and the noise of the house creaking drove me (and my mom) crazy sometimes. Luckily, no one was hurt. As the neighbor finished telling me this story I looked out the window and a cardinal was sitting on the fence. I said THANK YOU! I kept thinking how grateful I am that I sold when I did.
This past week I finished reading: "THE MIDWIFE MURDERS" by James Patterson and Richard DiLallo. "Till Murder Do Us Part" and "Ramp Up To Murder" by James Patterson. I also watched, "Resistance" (2020) inspired by the life of Marcel Marceau.

My heart hurts as one of the ladies I kept tabs on from my mom's nursing home passed away. She was a beautiful soul who would grab my hand and hold onto tightly whenever I saw her. I know she is watching over her best friend Ruthie....RIP Mary.
I am leaving it here for today. I think I'll head back to bed for a bit (at least while it's still dark). I hope you have a good week. Take Care. Marie
