It's been quite an adventure so far as we traversed Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. We have seen four of the five Great Lakes. We have a loose plan of where we want to go, but left it flexible enough to divert to see something close by. We create an album a day on FB where we store our pictures of the day. We also take at least one group selfie a day. The scenery has been incredible as we were lucky enough to catch the fall foliage. We have met some wonderful eclectic people of all ages along our way. We have stayed in some quaint inns and named chain hotels as we don't make reservations until the day of or the day before. The weather has been a bit warmer than I expected so no need for the fleece and wool I packed yet.
We are ones wearing our masks everywhere and it's so interesting to see so many people NOT wearing them at all. I think Ohio was the last place where masks were mandatory in buildings. Although the majority of facilities have signs recommending masks, no one pays any attention. At least no one has made any comments to us.
I made the right decision when I purchased the van as it has been so comfortable for our travels. Don't worry we have not filled it up with souvenirs. The only things I miss from my last two vehicles are: OnStar, SiriusXM, and automatic headlights. The app that Chrysler uses is not that great (at least in my opinion).
This past week I did not finish any books (I think I read a total of 25 pages as I was just too tired at night).
