Overall, I had a fairly quiet week. I went back to my original work schedule of three days per week with my regular client. I'll still help out in emergencies with other clients, but truly want to stick to my routine. My client and I had some fun together as we listen to swing music. He did not play his trombone this week, but loves to tell me about the instruments we hear as we sing along.
I finally got to the dentist for a cleaning/checkup and to begin the final phase for my implant. Boy, has this been long and drawn out with everything closed for so long. He has all the safety precautions in place and then some. His receptionist/assistant of 30+ years retired and the dental hygienist also retired so there were a couple of new faces when I arrived.
Lots of FB memories popped up this week containing stories/pictures of my parents and Lady. Some made me smile and some brought tears, but I'm so glad I captured what I did.
Have you started getting all the political phone calls? I can't stand it and now they are calling my cell phone! More calls I won't answer and block as well as text messages I delete. I truly wish any campaign could just be about the issues and the plans each person has to work on the issues. I don't want name calling, finger pointing, and the down and dirty. It just makes me angrier. This is why I'll never be a politician...LOL!
I finished reading: "WHEN YOU SEE ME" by Lisa Gardner and "1st Case" by James Patterson and Chris Tebbetts - started the week with murder/mayhem. "THE LAST TRAIN TO KEY WEST" by Chanel Cleeton - finished the week with a bit of history and love. I also watched: "GENERATION COLUMBINE" and it's very powerful.
