Overall a good week. Busy with putting things away in Plymouth and deciding what to bring to Sterling. I am getting better about packing less and less as I can leave stuff in both places.
If I do say so myself, I made an awesome Easter dinner for the family...LOL! It was simple, but tasty - ham, mashed potatoes and green beans. My sister made a delicious cake for dessert. I got out the china (have not used in so long) and set a nice table with a chocolate Easter bunny at each place setting. It was a nice quiet afternoon.
My sister and I went to the Blue Hills Technical Institute - Chateau Restaurant for lunch on Wednesday. It's only open during the school year and it's run by the students with teacher guidance. I had heard about this months ago and followed on FB so I'm glad I got to try it. I will definitely go back as the food was awesome. I like that it's open to the public - no reservations needed. They switch off between freshmen/juniors and sophomore/seniors. I have heard a couple of other schools also do this, but they do not advertise or open very often without reservations. Great way to support local schools.
I had an awesome meditation class on Thursday. There were only two of us, but it was exactly what I needed. I find with all the changes that are occurring in and around me, meditation is so helpful. Always great discussion before and after.
With all the energy shifting in the world lately, it has truly impacted my sleep. I know I go to bed at about the same time every night, but I wake up several times during the night and have some really off the wall dreams. One night I woke myself up and Lady was sitting on her bed looking at me. Many of the dreams contain people from many of the eras and aspects of my life in scenarios that from what I remember make no sense. I'm also still so tired when I wake up. I know it will all make sense at some point, hopefully soon.
I am part of several FB groups...sometimes I think too many...LOL! There is one group where the admin is responsible for about 15 groups and he really keeps an eye on what's posted. He does not take any guff and will ban you from the page if you step out of line. It started as food groupies and people writing about restaurant experiences (good and bad), pics, etc. He has expanded to groups for restaurants beyond the area, home cooking, etc., what I really enjoy is this past week he started a group for good news/what makes you happy. It only has positive postings...You know I love it!!
Have not finished a book in a few weeks although I am reading one or two very slowly. Perhaps this week I'll make further progress. How about you?
The daily and wacky holidays for the week...provides something lighthearted to think about: (I missed the last couple of weeks..missed out on so much fun stuff...LOL!)
