My heart is heavy this morning with the news of terror attacks in Sri Lanka. My prayers today are dedicated to those who died and are injured.
I seemed to have shed quite a few tears this past week for both good news and bad news. My heart was so touched as I watched the fire at Notre Dame, Micah Herndon finish the Boston Marathon, stories about the Holy Land, etc.
The wind of the week was blowing pollen, sand, and dirt everywhere. It almost looked like fog sometimes. Poor Lady was so discombobulated; when we walked; as she could never tell where the scents were coming from. Lady put herself to bed last night at about 9 (no bedtime snack) and did not wake up until 7:30 this morning. She had her checkup the other day and overall is doing well. She did have two ear infections - one worse than the other. I have to love the new meds for this as it's only two doses and the vet tech does both doses (2nd one tomorrow). This goes directly in her ears - thank goodness as we know how bad she is at taking pills.
The Today show had several shows about the Holy Land. I watched all of them and was brought back to awesome memories of my visit there many years ago. I had an awesome tour guide in my awesome friend Mary and saw and experienced so many things both spiritual and physical. I may not be a regular church goer, but I will always have my faith and spirituality.
Spring is the time of year where resurrection, rebirth and renewal often come together. I understand (more as I get older) why many of us use spring as the time to clean out, freshen up and basically reinvent much of our lives (again whether it be spiritual or physical). Have you noticed changes occurring in your life? Whether you orchestrate the change or go along with the flow, changes are around you.
I am going to leave it here for today. I hope you have a good week. Take care. Chat soon. Marie
