My week went well with work. I even met a co-worker as she forgot what day it was and was at the house when I arrived. We have been leaving each other notes so we know what's what so it was good to put a name with a face. She is a teacher at a local college and does this work on the side. We discussed ways to take care of our client and will coordinate more. My day was made when I got my other client to willingly put on a mask and take a walk in the sunshine.
On Friday, I learned my next door neighbor in Plymouth passed away on Easter. So glad I got to see her the last time I was there. She was 95 and lived next door long before my parent's moved to Plymouth. She told me she saw the tree planted in the front yard. She loved to watch the birds between our houses and had a bird feeder at window height. She kept an eye on my comings/goings and always got a kick out of me with Lady. When I think of all the things she witnessed and experienced in her life - the good and bad - I am amazed.
Not sure if you ever heard of Alain de Botton, but I saw an interview with him the other day and he peaked my curiosity. He is a philosopher and author. He runs (along with partners) The School of Life from London. His way seems to evolve around calmness and gentleness. I'm adding him to my reading list. He might be what we need more of these days.
I did not finish any books this week. I guess I took too many naps or played too many games. Oh well, we'll see what this week brings as I have two stacks ready to start. Hope you are enjoying some reading adventures.

I want to say CONGRATULATIONS to all the graduates of 2020. It definitely was not the way you expected it to be. I'm sure there will be bigger celebrations at some point. Quite a different way to begin the next chapter in your life, but I look forward to your contributions to the world.
I am going to leave it here for today. I might go lay across the bed for a bit. I hope you have a good week. Take care. Chat soon. Marie
