Well, the big news of the week is the Plymouth house is on the market. Many views online and quite a few showings. We had two offers and are in the negotiation stages. Not going to say more as I don't want to jinx anything. I'll post more info at a later date.
I had a good week settling back into Sterling. I'm really glad I took the week to relax before starting work tomorrow. I was more tired/drained than I thought and took quite a few naps. Boy, do I feel old admitting I took naps almost every day. But, then again, I listened to my mind/body/spirit and rested as needed. Do you listen to your body/mind/spirit? I also had a couple of coffee dates with dear friends and spent several hours catching up.
I have been thinking about what, if anything, I learned during this time of pandemic/isolation. One of the biggies is how much useless shopping I did pre-pandemic. I popped into stores; accepted almost every shopping party invite; bought stuff just to have stuff or perhaps satisfy some type of need (have not figured that need yet). I mean, when I look at all I have cleaned out in the past several months, I realize I truly don't need to keep adding to my "stuff". No offense to anyone, but I am not accepting invites to shopping parties. Now, when going to a store, I have a list and only get exactly what I need and do not wander the aisles. Perhaps I'll save some money along the way. I've learned a few other things as well, but I'll get to them on another Sunday. Have you had a learning moment?
I did not finish any books this week, but I'm working on it.
