As many of you know, I am an early riser. I feel like I wasted the day if I sleep in. This is the reason I don't mind working out early as I'm up any way. I find mornings so peaceful as the dawn breaks and the sky changes color. I find myself thinking about my blessings as I sit with a nice hot cup of coffee and watch the sky change. It's a nice way to stop and smell the roses so to speak. What do you do that brings you peace and inner happiness?
I hope you had a good week. I was busy, but not overwhelmed. I went to orientation on Thursday for my position at Comfort Keepers. It was interesting as it's been over 30 years since I sat through an employment orientation. I was able to pick up a client for Saturday afternoon/evening and all day Sunday. I must admit I was a bit nervous about the assignment, but all went well. I have to go to the office tomorrow because some things with technology did not work, but it will all work out in the end. It will be interesting to see how much work I pick up before leaving town at the end of the month. Have you started a new job recently? How did you feel on that first day?
I start my other part time position this week. I'm looking forward to walking at noon time every day although from what I hear the weather at the end of the week will be very cold...guess I might actually have to wear a winter coat....LOL!! I normally wear either a fleece jacket or a fleece cape as I hate the bulkiness of a coat. How do you feel about winter coats?
No worries I have not given up on coaching. I actually signed up at a site that sends me information about people looking for coaches in the area. I can then send the person information and a quote for cost of services. I have received six notices so far and sent a quote to one person. We'll see how it all works out.
I had a great time at dinner the other night with the Red Hats. We tried a new restaurant that was really good. We chatted and laughed and enjoyed the service. I feel as if time has flown by and I have not had a chance to catch up with as many people as I have at other times. I know I still have time to catch up with a few more people so I'll see how many I can fit it. Thank goodness for FB in many ways it's a great way to keep in touch. Of course there is nothing like in-person. How do you keep in touch?
I am going to end it here tonight as I'm slowly giving in to that tired feeling. I hope you have a good week. Share a smile! Take care. Chat soon. Marie
"We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us. When we discover this, we are less prone to hate our enemies." Martin Luther King, Jr.
"Forgiveness is not always easy. At times, it feels more painful than the wound we suffered, to forgive the one that inflicted it. And yet, there is no peace without forgiveness." Marianne Williamson
