The chiropractor tells me to look up once in a while so I've tried to do this when Lady stops on our walks - not only does it help stretch my neck, but gets me out of my head! How do you get out of your head?
I attended a guided meditation group on Friday and wow as always I was blown away. I love that this is a small group, but the energy is so large. I'm getting better about clearing my thoughts and going with the flow of the energy. I believe this is part of the reason I have been able to feel grounded over the past few weeks when those around me have been like whirling dervishes. Don't get me wrong I still have strong emotions pulling me in different directions, but feel like I can handle much of what is happening.
I have increased my circle quite a bit in the past few weeks. Each person that I meet I believe has come into my life for a reason whether it be I need them or they need me. What about you?
For those of you that asked how this blog got started here is a little history. When I completed coach training, I started my coaching business. During this time, I emailed several people in my circle on Sunday as a way to catch up and stay in touch. When my first website was created by a client, she recommended that I start a blog. At the time I was like who's going to care, but since I was writing to about 35 people on Sunday I thought why not? I was afraid of losing some of the personal aspects of those notes, but wanted to move forward with coaching and business. Thank you Lori for that absolutely wonderful suggestion and helping me in the beginning learn about the technical stuff. Now 11 years later I have a new website on a different platform, a FB page and followers. I still need assistance with some of the technical stuff, but thankfully Thomas helps when needed. I am so grateful and blessed.
I had a bit of wait time and/or down time this past week so I jumped into reading. Besides catching up with newspapers and magazines, I finished: "DISRUPT AGING" by Jo Ann Jenkins with Boe Workman. Great perspective of living your best life. I also finished: "TWO BY TWO" by Nicholas Sparks. You know that meant I shed a few tears along the way. I watched the movie "CONCUSSION" last night and found it fascinating. What have you been reading? I always have room for additional books...LOL!
A big shout out to my friends. I love the cards, emails, and messages I continually get filled with love and supportive thoughts. I am so far behind in cards and responses, but I want you all to know that you are in my prayers and thoughts.
I am going to leave it here for today. Second cup of coffee done and I'm preparing Sunday dinner so need to get it moving. I hope you have a good week. Take care. Chat soon.
