My week went well. I was out and about a day or two - that may not seem like much to some people, but to me it's a fairly big deal. I saw the optometrist as I realized it had been two years. Last year I saw the Ophthalmologist and for some reason thought that covered my vision test...duh to me. Any way, my prescription has not changed too much, but I'm going to check out new glasses this week. Maybe a new style and I want to get new sunglasses.
I also had to get some lab work done for my upcoming rheumatology telemed. I guess that's what happens since I sent the doctor a message with pictures of my feet/ankles (since I really don't think he has seen them on the telemed. I also reminded him my current meds will be gone and he talked about changing them. We'll see what the telemed this week brings (I thought it was last week).
I went to visit my old client and spend some time with her. I had given her a digital picture frame for Xmas which I knew had not been used yet. So I went with a goal in mind and I accomplished it. I sent about 25 pictures from her phone to the frame. Since she has hundreds of pictures of her phone it will take a little bit of time as only 10 pics can be sent at once. But it gives me a goal when I visit again. I then reached out to her son to advise him what app to download so he could send pics directly. She has tons more photos stored on a stick that will need to be gone through. She was delighted with what I had gotten done and did not want to know (partially she won't remember) how to do it herself.
Are you ready for the Super Bowl? I don't really care who wins it's more the hoopla surrounding the game. I just hope it's a good game. I also want to see the half time show. The ads are out earlier and earlier each year which is disappointing to me, but I guess more profitable for the advertisers. I won't watch all the afternoon pre-game stuff as I watch the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. I see another station now has a Kitten/Puppy Bowl, but I'll stick with what I normally watch. We'll mostly nibble our way through the day.
This past week I finished reading: "ROCK BOTTOM" - Fern Michaels. Sisterhood Series #35 - humor and justice. "NOEL STREET" - Richard Paul Evans. Happy ending story. "ME BEFORE YOU" - JoJo Moyes. It's funny and sad. "EVERYTHING LEFT TO REMEMBER" - Steph Jagger. An inspirational mother/daughter road trip through the Rocky Mountains and Alzheimers. All very good reads this week. I also watched: "The Harlem Hellfighters" documentary on the History channel - so much I did not know. Also, "The Many Lives of Martha Stewart" documentary on CNN - interesting.
